Taliban Beheads 7 Pakistan Army Soldiers

The Pakistan army has had a very bad June. 2012. Firstly a General Court Martial was held and concluded for a Brigadier and 4 Majors for trying to establish an Islamic Caliphate. Now news has come from the Pak- Afghan border that the Taliban has struck infull force at the Pakistan army. Reports are sketchy, but the incident that has come to light must set alarm bells ringing at GHQ. Pakistan army. It appears a Pakistan army platoon was on a routine patrol in North Wazirstan about 150 km from Peshawar. This platoon was attacked by a large contigent
of the Taliban armed with automatic weapons. There was a firefight and 6 Pak army soldiers were killed. The Taliban captured another 7 and took them away. These 7 soldiers had a

gruesome end as the Taliban a lttle distance from the scene of battle lined up the soldiers and executed them. As per reportsemanating from Pak army sources the 7 soldiers who were captured were beheaded. The Taliban took pictures of the execution and posted them on their website. It is a shocking sight. These attacks and beheadongs has shown the Pak army in poor light. The sad part is that Pakistan led by General Kayani still has massive force facing India. The danger from the west is glossed over and comparatively fewer troops are statipned there. The Taliban have vowed to establish an Islamic Caliphate in Pakistan and are on the rampage. Its about time Pakistan realized the danger they are facing. The future can have dark contours if the Pak army does not realize thedanger they are facing.
