Reshma Shetty, Royal Pains And Break In Mumbai Films

In the year 2010 the number one television show was Royal Pains. The show was a success also in 2011 and one hopes that this season also this show is set to again entertain the people. A lot of the success of this TV show must go to Indian actress Reshma Shetty. This actress deserves our admiration as one of the few Indian girls who have made a success in the west in the TV and film world.
Reshma Shetty has had a checkered upbringing and has been brought up both in The UK at Manchester and Richmond Virginia USA.

She is presently 32 years of age. Reshma is also well qualified having got her masters of Music degree from the University of Kentucky. In addition in 2005 she achieved her diploma in the opera from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.

Reshma has had good breaks. In 2006 she had the opportunity to play the leading role

in Indian music legend A.R. Rahman of Oscar fame for his score for ‘Salaam Mumbai’ and Andrew Llyod Webber’s of touring the nation with music company Bombay Dreams
She graced the World Aids Day Benefit show at Broadway in” The Secret Garden as Ayah”. Her forte was brought out as she gave varied performances in different theatre and festivals in America like The Lark Theatre Company, The New Dramatists, The Playwrights Forum and Contemporary American Theatre Festival.
Reshma Shetty is a face of the Dove soap and other products in India. Now Reshma is starring in a USA Network, program Royal Pain as Divya Katdare. This attractive lady has carved a niche for herself on the small screen. In 2008 she also graced the big screen with the film ‘Steam’.
